Quality & Testing

At Global Peptides, quality is our highest priority.

We understand that when purchasing research peptides, researchers want confidence in what they are receiving.

That is why we focus heavily on:

  • GMP-focused production methods
  • COA-backed testing
  • Transparent product information

What Does GMP Mean?

GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practice.

These are manufacturing standards designed to help ensure products are produced consistently and under controlled conditions.

GMP-focused manufacturing commonly includes:

  • Controlled production environments
  • Strict cleanliness procedures
  • Batch tracking systems
  • Quality control procedures
  • Consistency between batches
  • Controlled handling and storage

This helps reduce contamination risk and improves consistency across production.

Not all peptide suppliers place serious focus on manufacturing standards — we do.

What Is A COA?

COA stands for Certificate of Analysis.

A COA is a laboratory testing document that provides information about a product batch, including purity testing and analytical results.

COAs commonly include:

  • Product identity confirmation
  • Purity percentage
  • Batch information
  • Testing methods
  • Analytical results

In simple terms:

A COA is evidence that a product batch has actually been tested rather than simply labelled and sold with no verification.

What Does 99% Purity Mean?

Purity refers to how much of the contents are actually the intended peptide compound.

For example:

A peptide tested at 99% purity means approximately 99% of the analysed material matches the target compound being tested for.

Higher purity is generally desirable because it indicates:

  • Cleaner manufacturing
  • Better refinement processes
  • Lower impurity levels
  • Higher batch quality
  • Better consistency

Low-quality peptide suppliers often avoid discussing purity altogether — usually for a reason.

Why We Take Testing Seriously

The peptide industry contains a huge number of low-quality suppliers, resellers and heavily marketed products with little or no genuine testing behind them.

Anyone can print a label.

Not everyone can provide:

  • Consistent batch quality
  • Transparent testing
  • Proper manufacturing standards
  • Reliable product purity

We believe researchers deserve more than vague marketing claims and fancy packaging.

Why We Don’t Sell Peptide Pens

We intentionally focus on lyophilised research peptides rather than mass-produced peptide pens.

Why?

Because many pre-filled pens on the market:

  • Provide little or no real testing transparency
  • Rarely provide proper batch-level COAs
  • Often contain unclear concentrations
  • Are heavily focused on marketing over quality
  • Can sit for extended periods already mixed

Pre-mixed products may also experience increased stability concerns compared to properly stored lyophilised peptides.

We prefer supplying properly stored research peptides in lyophilised form so researchers have:

  • Greater transparency
  • More control over reconstitution
  • Clearer concentration handling
  • Improved storage stability prior to reconstitution

In our view, quality and transparency matter far more than gimmicky packaging.

How To Request COAs

We are happy to provide COAs for products where available.

To request a COA, simply contact us via email at hello@ukresearchpeptides.co.uk or through the whatsapp on our website – a customer service operator is available 24/7.

We aim to make the process as straightforward as possible.
